Day 1: Arrival – Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri to Gangtok - Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. Join your fellow travelers as you begin a scenic drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, nestled amidst the Eastern Himalayas. As you reach Gangtok by late afternoon, the soft golden light of the setting sun bathes the hills, creating a tranquil welcome. After checking in at your hotel, take some time to unwind and refresh. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk through the bustling MG Road market, where colorfull shops, local eateries, and the gentle aroma of incense from nearby monasteries set the tone for a peaceful evening.

Day 2: Gangtok – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Nathu La Pas - Begin your day with a hearty Sikkimese breakfast, rich in local flavors, before heading out for a full day of exploration in the Eastern Himalayas. Your first stop is the enchanting Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake nestled at an altitude of 3,753 meters. Depending on the season, it may be partially or completely frozen, surrounded by rugged beauty and snow-draped peaks. From here, continue your journey to the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, dedicated to the legendary Indian Army soldier whose spirit is believed to protect soldiers in this high-altitude terrain. Next, ascend to the breathtaking Nathu La Pass (subject to availability and permit), located at 4,310 meters on the historic Silk Route. From this high vantage point, you’ll catch a rare glimpse of the Indo-China border, with dramatic landscapes stretching endlessly in all directions. Please note that Nathu La is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and entry is subject to weather and army clearance—Ameera Holidays will handle all necessary permits. After this soul-stirring experience, return to your hotel for some well-earned rest. If time and energy allow, explore Gangtok’s spiritual side with a visit to the serene Enchey Monastery, rich with Tibetan Buddhist tradition and peaceful vibes.

Day 3: Gangtok to Darjeeling – A Scenic Himalayan Drive - After a refreshing breakfast, bid farewell to Gangtok as you embark on a picturesque drive through the lush hills and valleys en route to Darjeeling, the "Queen of the Hills."Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax in the cool mountain air. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk along Darjeeling’s Mall Road, soaking in the colonial charm and views of the surrounding peaks. For those interested, a ride on the iconic Darjeeling Toy Train offers a nostalgic journey through misty landscapes and tea gardens. In the evening, explore the vibrant local markets, perfect for picking up souvenirs and tasting local snacks.

Day 4: Darjeeling – Sunrise and Full-Day Sightseeing - Your day begins early—with a 3:00 AM departure to the iconic Tiger Hill. Join fellow travelers as you await one of nature’s most stunning spectacles: the sunrise over Kanchenjunga. Watch in awe as the snowy peaks gradually shift from pale pink to a radiant gold, illuminating the eastern Himalayas in a magical glow. On your way back, stop at the peaceful Ghoom Monastery, one of Darjeeling’s oldest, and then admire the engineering marvel of the Batasia Loop, with its manicured gardens and war memorial. After a hearty breakfast and a bit of rest, set out for a captivating afternoon. Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, home to inspiring exhibits on mountain expeditions, followed by the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, known for its conservation of high-altitude wildlife. Conclude your day with a visit to the tranquil Japanese Temple and the striking Peace Pagoda, followed by Gombu Rock, a favorite spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 5: Darjeeling – Departure to New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra - After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the serene hills of Darjeeling. Our representative will assist you with your transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
