Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Half-Day Sightseeing - Welcome to Delhi, the vibrant capital city of India—a place where the ancient and the modern exist in seamless harmony. Steeped in history, culture, and architectural grandeur, Delhi serves as a gateway to India’s rich heritage and dynamic city life. Upon your arrival, a Kashiyatra Tours representative will greet you and assist with your check-in at the hotel. After some rest and refreshments, set out for a half-day sightseeing tour that takes you through the historical and spiritual heart of the city. Begin with a visit to the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1648, known for its majestic red sandstone walls and Mughal brilliance. Continue to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and soak in its spiritual aura and stunning architecture.Pay your respects at Raj Ghat and Shanti Van, the serene memorials of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. From there, head into the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of Delhi’s oldest markets, perfect for street food, spices, and souvenirs. Day 2: Delhi to Manali (Approx. 554 km / 12–14 Hours) - After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your scenic journey to Manali, a jewel of Himachal Pradesh nestled in the Himalayas. The drive is long but filled with ever-changing vistas—rolling hills, winding rivers, pine forests, and charming villages. En route, hear the fascinating legend tied to this majestic hill station. It is said that Manali gets its name from Manu, the sage who survived a great flood (the Deluge) and recreated human life in this serene valley.
