Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi – Evening Ganga Aarti
Your journey begins with a 4:00 PM pickup from your hotel, airport, or railway station in Varanasi by our representative. After check-in and a short orientation, you will be taken directly to the ghats of the sacred Ganges.

In the evening, you will witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, the highlight of Varanasi. Priests dressed in traditional attire perform this ancient ritual with large brass lamps, incense, and rhythmic chants. The divine atmosphere, combined with the sounds of conch shells and temple bells, creates a mesmerizing experience. You may enjoy this ceremony from the ghat or take a boat ride (optional) for a panoramic view of the glowing lamps reflecting on the river.

After the Aarti concludes around 8:00 PM, you will be escorted back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2: Sunrise Boat Ride – Rudra Abhishek – Walking Tour – Breakfast – City Tour & Sarnath
Begin your day early with a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges. As dawn breaks, the ghats come alive with pilgrims taking holy dips, offering prayers, and chanting mantras. The boat ride gives you an unforgettable glimpse of Varanasi’s spiritual essence, including views of the famous cremation ghat, Manikarnika.

After the boat ride, you will proceed to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Here, you will participate in the sacred Rudra Abhishek ceremony, a powerful ritual performed with Vedic mantras, milk, honey, and holy offerings to Lord Shiva. This deeply spiritual experience is believed to bring blessings, peace, and prosperity to devotees.

Once the puja is complete, return to your hotel for breakfast and some relaxation.

Later, embark on a walking tour of the old city’s narrow alleys, exploring hidden temples, bustling bazaars, and ancient shrines that showcase Varanasi’s timeless traditions. Afterward, continue with a guided city tour of Varanasi, covering iconic temples such as the Annapurna Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple (Monkey Temple), and the Bharat Mata Temple, which houses a unique marble map of India.

In the afternoon, proceed to Sarnath, located about 10 km from Varanasi. This sacred Buddhist site is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. Visit the Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashokan Pillar, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum, which preserves rare sculptures and Buddhist relics. The calm and spiritual aura of Sarnath offers the perfect conclusion to your Varanasi experience.

After sightseeing, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Varanasi in the evening, marking the end of your enriching 2-day tour with Kashiyatra Tours.
