Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore – Local Sightseeing
Distance Covered: Local (40–50 km) Upon arrival at Bangalore Airport or Railway Station, our representative will receive you and assist with your hotel transfer. After check-in and some rest, your introduction to Karnataka begins with a short sightseeing tour of the city. Start with a stroll through Cubbon Park, a sprawling 300-acre green space in the heart of the city, often referred to as the lungs of Bangalore. The park is home to numerous heritage buildings and offers a refreshing start to the tour.Next, visit the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, known for housing India’s largest collection of tropical plants. It also features a serene lake and a glasshouse modeled after London’s Crystal Palace—an ideal spot for photography and relaxation.Continue to Bangalore Palace, built in 1878 and inspired by England’s Windsor Castle. The grand architecture, intricate woodwork, and royal artifacts inside the palace provide a glimpse into the city’s regal past. Conclude the day with darshan at the ISKCON Temple, one of the largest Krishna temples in the world.

Day 2: Bangalore – Shravanabelagola – Hassan – Belur – Halebidu
Distance:
Bangalore to Shravanabelagola: 145 km / 3.5 hrs
Shravanabelagola to Hassan: 85 km / 2 hrs
Hassan to Belur: 40 km / 1 hr
Belur to Halebidu: 17 km / 30 mins
Halebidu to Hassan: 35 km / 1 hr
After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Shravanabelagola, a revered Jain pilgrimage site. Climb up to the Gommateshwara Bahubali statue, standing tall at 57 feet and carved out of a single granite rock. It’s a powerful symbol of non-violence, sacrifice, and renunciation. After darshan, proceed to Hassan, once the capital of the Hoysala Empire. Check in to your hotel and continue exploring the architectural wonders of the region. Drive to Belur, home to the famous Chennakeshava Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This 12th-century temple is renowned for its exquisite carvings and detailed sculptures on every surface. Then proceed to Halebidu, where the twin temples of Hoysaleswara and Kedareshwara showcase the finest examples of Hoysala craftsmanship. These sites, though partially ruined, are still richly adorned with mythological scenes carved in stone.
Return to Hassan for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Hassan – Coorg (via Talakaveri)
Distance: Hassan to Talakaveri: 170 km / 4.5 hrs. Talakaveri to Madikeri (Coorg): 45 km / 1.5 hrs After breakfast, drive to Talakaveri, believed to be the origin point of the River Cauvery, nestled in the scenic Brahmagiri Hills. The temple at Talakaveri is a serene spot where pilgrims can take a holy dip and offer prayers amidst the cool mountain breeze. Continue to Madikeri, the heart of Coorg, a charming hill station known for its coffee plantations and misty hills. Visit Abbey Falls, a breathtaking 70-foot waterfall surrounded by coffee and spice estates. A short walk down about 200 steps takes you to the best viewing point. Conclude the day at the Omkareshwara Temple, a beautiful shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built in 1820, this temple features Islamic and Gothic architectural elements and sits beside a peaceful pond filled with fish.

Day 4: Coorg – Kukke Subramanya – Dharmasthala – Mangalore
Distance: Coorg to Kukke: 75 km / 2.5 hrs Kukke to Dharmasthala: 60 km / 2 hrs Dharmasthala to Mangalore: 75 km / 2.5 hrs After breakfast, head to Kukke Subramanya Temple, nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats and surrounded by dense forests. This temple is dedicated to Lord Subramanya, the protector from serpent-related troubles. Pilgrims also bathe in the Kumaradhara River before darshan. Next, proceed to Dharmasthala, home to the revered Bahubali monolithic statue and Sri Manjunatha Temple, a unique shrine managed by Jain trustees and priests of Shaiva tradition. The spirit of religious harmony here is truly inspiring. Continue to the coastal city of Mangalore. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. If time permits, enjoy a tranquil sunset walk along the beach or visit the Kadri Manjunath Temple.

Day 5: Mangalore – Udupi – Murdeshwar Distance:
Mangalore to Udupi: 60 km / 1.5 hrs Udupi to Murdeshwar: 105 km / 3 hrs Begin the day with a visit to Kudupu Anantha Padmanabha Temple (10 km from Mangalore), dedicated to Lord Vishnu. After breakfast, travel to Udupi, a renowned temple town. Visit the Sri Krishna Matha, one of the holiest Vaishnavite temples in India, known for its unique "Kanakana Kindi" window through which devotees view the deity. Also explore the Anantheshwara Temple, believed to be over 1,000 years old. On your way to Murdeshwar, stop at Anegudde Vinayaka Temple, one of Karnataka's seven sacred Mukti Sthalas dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Arrive in Murdeshwar by evening and check in. Visit the towering 123-foot Shiva statue, the second tallest in the world, and explore the Murdeshwar Temple built atop the Kanduka Hill, surrounded by the Arabian Sea on three sides. The temple’s gopuram and ocean backdrop create a divine setting for evening prayers.

Day 6: Murdeshwar – Gokarna – Goa
Distance: Murdeshwar to Gokarna: 80 km / 2.5 hr Gokarna to Goa: 150 km / 4 hrs After breakfast, proceed to Gokarna, a sacred coastal town famous for its temples and unspoiled beaches. Visit the Mahabaleshwar Temple, where the revered Atmalinga of Lord Shiva is enshrined. The temple is a major pilgrimage center and draws devotees from across the country. Enjoy some time at Om Beach or Kudle Beach, depending on schedule flexibility, before continuing to Goa. On arrival in Goa, check in to your hotel and relax. Spend your evening enjoying a peaceful sunset along the beach.

Day 7: Departure from Goa Distance: Local (20–30 km to airport or station) After breakfast, depending on your departure schedule, you may enjoy some leisure time at the beach or explore nearby local markets. You will then be transferred to Goa Airport or Railway Station, marking the end of a spiritually uplifting and culturally enriching Karnataka Group Tour.
