Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda - Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing evening, with time to recover from your journey. If time permits, you can explore Entebbe’s scenic botanical gardens or the lakeside promenade. Overnight stay in Entebbe.

Day 2: Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to more than half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Journey through lush countryside, terraced hills, and vibrant villages. Arrive at your lodge, nestled amidst mist-covered forests. In the evening, enjoy a briefing about gorilla trekking and the park’s rich biodiversity. Overnight stay in Bwindi.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi - This day offers the unforgettable highlight of your Uganda visit – gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast and a short briefing, set off with experienced trackers into the dense forest. Trekking can take several hours depending on the gorilla family’s location, but the reward is priceless: observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. After your trek, return to the lodge for lunch and leisure. Overnight stay in Bwindi.

Day 4: Bwindi – Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda - After breakfast, cross into Rwanda through the Cyanika or Katuna border. Continue your journey to Volcanoes National Park, famous for gorilla and golden monkey tracking. Enjoy scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, volcanic peaks, and rural life along the way. Arrive at your lodge for an evening of rest. Overnight stay near Volcanoes National Park.

Day 5: Golden Monkey Tracking & Kigali City Tour - Early in the morning, head into the park for golden monkey tracking, a delightful experience with these playful primates unique to the Virunga region. Later, drive to Kigali, Rwanda’s clean and vibrant capital. Enjoy a city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, and cultural sites. Overnight stay in Kigali.

Day 6: Kigali – Nairobi, Kenya - After breakfast, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Nairobi, Kenya (flight not included in package price). On arrival, meet our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum. Overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 7: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a picturesque drive through the Great Rift Valley with photo stops along the way. Arrive in the Mara in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, and possibly even the elusive leopard. Overnight stay inside or near the reserve.

Day 8: Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara - Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara, renowned for its abundant wildlife and dramatic landscapes. Witness herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with Africa’s top predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve before continuing your game drive. In the evening, relax at your lodge and perhaps enjoy a traditional Maasai cultural performance. Overnight stay in Maasai Mara.

Day 9: Maasai Mara – Nairobi Departure - After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive as you exit the park. Drive back to Nairobi with scenic views en route. Upon arrival, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable East African adventure.
