This will be the perfect opportunity to get a taste of the country's warm hospitality. Overnight stay in Dakar.

Day 2: Dakar City Tour - After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided city tour of Dakar. Begin with a visit to the African Renaissance Monument, an impressive 49-meter-tall statue overlooking the city. Continue to the IFAN Museum of African Arts, which houses traditional artifacts and historical exhibits. Stroll through the lively Sandaga Market, where colorful fabrics, crafts, and local produce create a vibrant atmosphere. Stop at Presidential Palace for a photo opportunity before heading to the scenic Corniche coastal road for breathtaking ocean views. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Excursion to Gorée Island - Today, take a ferry to Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This small, picturesque island holds deep historical significance as a former center of the Atlantic slave trade. Visit the House of Slaves, which serves as a museum and memorial. Wander through the island’s narrow streets lined with pastel-colored colonial buildings and artisan shops. Enjoy a traditional lunch on the island before returning to Dakar in the afternoon. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps exploring Dakar’s nightlife or relaxing at your hotel.

Day 4: Lake Retba (Pink Lake) & Surroundings - After breakfast, head to Lake Retba, famously known as the “Pink Lake” for its striking rosy hue caused by algae and minerals. Take a guided boat ride to experience its unique beauty and learn about the salt-harvesting process practiced by local workers. Continue to nearby villages to experience traditional Senegalese life, where you can interact with locals and witness handicraft-making. Enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to Dakar.
