Morning: Departure to Sarnath

• After the boat ride, depart for Sarnath, a key pilgrimage site for Buddhists around the world. This sacred place is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment in 528 BC.

Sarnath Exploration:

• Dhamek Stupa: Begin your exploration with a visit to the Dhamek Stupa, a grand structure that marks the spot where Buddha shared his first teachings on the ‘Wheel of Law.’ The stupa, with its intricate carvings and historical significance, is a must-see in Sarnath.

• Mulagandha Kuti Vihar: Next, visit this relatively new Buddhist temple known for its stunning murals and frescoes. The temple offers a vivid contrast to the ancient ruins surrounding it.
