Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – City Exploration

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, freshen up and prepare for an introduction to Rwanda’s vibrant capital. Known for its cleanliness and safety, Kigali offers a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. You will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to the resilience of the Rwandan people, followed by a panoramic drive through the city’s bustling streets, artisan markets, and cultural centers.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring authentic Rwandan flavors. Overnight stay in Kigali.

Day 2: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park (Golden Monkey Trek)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda’s Northern Province. This UNESCO-recognized area is famous for its breathtaking views of the Virunga Mountains and unique biodiversity. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge surrounded by pristine nature.
In the afternoon, enjoy a Golden Monkey Trek. These playful primates are found only in the Virunga region and watching them leap through the bamboo forests is a delightful experience. Your expert guide will share fascinating insights about their behavior and habitat.
Return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful night’s rest, preparing for the highlight of your journey the next day.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park – Return to Kigali

This day is the crown jewel of your Rwandan adventure. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from experienced rangers before setting out on your Gorilla Trekking Expedition. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family assigned to you. As you navigate through dense forests, misty slopes, and lush vegetation, anticipation builds until you finally come face-to-face with a family of endangered mountain gorillas.
You will have a magical one-hour encounter, observing their interactions, social bonds, and gentle nature—an experience that will stay etched in your heart forever.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch before driving back to Kigali. The scenic return journey offers opportunities for photo stops and local market visits. Overnight stay in Kigali.

Day 4: Kigali – Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping at Kigali’s handicraft markets, where you can find unique Rwandan art, fabrics, and souvenirs. Our representative will then transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your onward journey, bringing your unforgettable Rwanda Wildlife Safari to a close.
