Day 1: Arrival in Muscat – City Exploration - Arrive at Muscat International Airport, where our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and some relaxation, begin your Muscat city tour. The first stop is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture, known for its grand dome, massive chandeliers, and exquisite handwoven Persian carpet.

Next, visit the Royal Opera House Muscat, an impressive cultural landmark that reflects Oman’s artistic heritage. Continue towards the Muttrah Corniche, where you can enjoy scenic sea views and explore the bustling Muttrah Souq. This traditional market is filled with stalls selling frankincense, perfumes, textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts.

Later, head to Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial residence of the Sultan, flanked by the historic Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani. Capture memorable photographs before returning to your hotel. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or your hotel, followed by an overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 2: Muscat – Nizwa Fort & Jabrin Castle Excursion - After breakfast, depart from Muscat for a full-day excursion to the interior regions of Oman. Your first stop will be Nizwa, often called the cultural heart of the country. Visit the magnificent Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century, famous for its huge circular tower and panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. Nearby, explore the Nizwa Souq, which is well-known for silver jewelry, pottery, and traditional khanjars (daggers). Continue your journey to the Jabrin Castle, an architectural gem showcasing beautiful ceiling paintings, wooden carvings, and historic rooms that provide insight into Omani life centuries ago. On your return journey, drive through scenic villages and landscapes, passing date plantations and rugged mountain views.

If time permits, a short stop at Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, can be included to admire its grand structure from outside. By evening, return to Muscat and spend some leisure time exploring the city at your own pace. Overnight stay at the hotel in Muscat.

Day 3: Departure from Muscat - Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and check out. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping at Muttrah Souq or a relaxing stroll along the Qurum Beach. Later, transfer to Muscat International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable Oman Weekend Tour Package.
