Day 1: Arrival in Auckland – City Exploration
Arrive at Auckland International Airport, where our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, begin your North Island journey with a guided city tour. Start at the Sky Tower, New Zealand’s tallest structure, for panoramic views of the city, harbours, and nearby islands. Continue to Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, home to lush gardens and the Auckland War Memorial Museum, which showcases Māori heritage and New Zealand’s natural history.
In the afternoon, stroll along Viaduct Harbour, enjoying the lively atmosphere, luxury yachts, and waterfront cafes. If time permits, visit Mount Eden, a dormant volcanic cone offering 360-degree city views. In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of Auckland’s renowned restaurants before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Auckland.

Day 2: Auckland to Rotorua – Geothermal Wonders & Māori Culture
After breakfast, check out and drive to Rotorua, a scenic journey through lush countryside and rolling hills. Upon arrival, visit Te Puia, home to the famous Pōhutu Geyser, bubbling mud pools, and the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute. Here, you’ll learn about Māori traditions, carving, and weaving.
In the afternoon, explore Government Gardens, a beautifully landscaped park with colourful flower beds and heritage buildings. Take a relaxing stroll by Lake Rotorua, where black swans glide across the water. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Māori cultural performance with traditional songs, dances, and a hangi dinner. Overnight stay in Rotorua.

Day 3: Hobbiton Movie Set & Scenic Drive Back to Auckland
After breakfast, embark on a magical journey to the Hobbiton Movie Set in Matamata. Walk through the lush pastures of the Shire, explore charming hobbit holes, visit the Green Dragon Inn, and learn behind-the-scenes stories from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films.
After the tour, enjoy a scenic drive back to Auckland, stopping at viewpoints and small towns along the way. Upon arrival, spend your evening exploring Queen Street for shopping or take a sunset walk along the waterfront. Overnight stay in Auckland.
