Day 1: Arrival in Tripoli
Arrive at Tripoli International Airport, where our local representative greets you and assists with customs formalities. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and time to freshen up. In the evening, take a short orientation walk around the hotel area or the lively Medina streets to soak in Libya’s evening ambiance. Enjoy your first Libyan dinner at a traditional restaurant. Overnight in Tripoli.
Day 2: Tripoli City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a guided exploration of Tripoli, a city that blends Roman, Ottoman, and Italian influences. Visit the Red Castle Museum (Assaraya al-Hamra), home to a vast collection of archaeological treasures. Explore Martyrs’ Square, the city’s bustling heart, and wander through the old Medina’s labyrinth of narrow alleys, vibrant souks, and centuries-old mosques. End the day with a stroll along the scenic Corniche, offering views of the Mediterranean coast. Overnight in Tripoli.
Day 3: Leptis Magna Excursion
Today you’ll travel east to Leptis Magna, one of the most spectacular and well-preserved Roman archaeological sites in the world, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Arch of Septimius Severus, the grand Hadrianic Baths, the sprawling Old Forum, and the amphitheatre. Learn how this city once stood as a bustling trade hub. Enjoy a picnic lunch or dine at a local eatery before returning to Tripoli in the evening. Overnight in Tripoli.
Day 4: Coastal Drive to Sabratha
After breakfast, drive west to Sabratha, another UNESCO-listed ancient city with an extraordinary Roman theatre facing the sea. Explore its temples, basilicas, and mosaic floors that tell stories from the Phoenician and Roman eras. After your visit, take a scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast, stopping at fishing villages for fresh seafood or coffee by the water. Return to Tripoli for the night.
Day 5: Journey to Ghadames – The Desert Pearl
Today marks your entry into the Sahara. Set off on a long but rewarding drive to Ghadames, a UNESCO-listed oasis city near the borders with Algeria and Tunisia. Known as the “Pearl of the Desert,” Ghadames features unique whitewashed Berber architecture designed to protect residents from the intense heat. Day 6: Explore Ghadames & Desert Surroundings

Lunch is served picnic-style in the desert. As the day ends, watch the colours of the Sahara shift under the setting sun. Overnight desert camp under a sky full of stars.
Day 8: Return from Desert to Nalut
Wake up early to witness a sunrise over the dunes—an unforgettable experience. After breakfast, begin your journey toward Nalut, a Berber mountain town known for its centuries-old grain storage fort (Qasr). Explore the fort’s narrow corridors, which once stored provisions for the entire community. Learn about the ingenious designs that protected goods from desert heat. Overnight stay in Nalut.
Day 9: Return to Tripoli & Leisure Evening
After breakfast, make your way back to Tripoli, enjoying scenic stops along the route to stretch and explore small desert towns. Arrive in the city by afternoon and check into your hotel. Spend your final evening shopping in the Medina for souvenirs such as handwoven carpets, silver jewellery, and pottery. A farewell dinner featuring classic Libyan dishes concludes your adventure. Overnight in Tripoli.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Tripoli International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Libya’s ancient wonders, cultural richness, and the timeless beauty of the Sahara.
