Day 1: Arrival in Irkutsk – City Tour – Transfer to Lake Baikal - Upon arrival at Irkutsk International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the city center for a guided sightseeing tour. Begin with a visit to the Angara River Embankment, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. Continue to the Monument to Alexander III, an important symbol of Siberian heritage. Explore the charming 130 Kvartal district, known for its preserved wooden houses, boutique shops, and cafés.
Next, visit the Church of the Saviour, the oldest stone building in Eastern Siberia, and the Epiphany Cathedral, showcasing exquisite Orthodox architecture. You’ll also pass by the historic Znamensky Monastery.
After lunch at a local restaurant, depart for Listvyanka Village on the shores of Lake Baikal, approximately a 1-hour scenic drive. Upon arrival, enjoy a walk along the lakeside promenade and visit the Shaman Rock, a place steeped in local legends. Learn about the lake’s unique ecosystem and history at the Baikal Museum. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner featuring fresh Baikal fish before checking into your hotel in Listvyanka for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning at Lake Baikal – Departure from Irkutsk - Wake up to the serene beauty of Lake Baikal and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. This morning, you have free time to take in the lake’s tranquil atmosphere. You may choose to visit the local fish market, take a short boat trip on the lake (seasonal), or simply enjoy a leisurely walk along the shore, capturing photographs of the stunning surroundings.
After check-out, return to Irkutsk with a stop at the Taltsy Museum of Wooden Architecture (if time permits), an open-air museum showcasing traditional Siberian wooden structures, including houses, churches, and schools from the past centuries.
Upon arrival in Irkutsk, enjoy some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping before transferring to Irkutsk International Airport for your onward journey. Carry with you unforgettable memories of the pure waters of Lake Baikal, the charm of Irkutsk, and the warmth of Siberian hospitality.
