Day 1: Arrival in Mysore – Local Sightseeing

Welcome to Mysore! On arrival at Mysore Railway Station or Bus Stand, you will be warmly received by a Kashiyatra Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. (Standard check-in time at the hotel is 12:00 noon).

After check-in, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the Mysore Maharaja’s Palace, a grand Indo-Saracenic architectural marvel featuring exquisite interiors and the famous golden throne. Proceed to the Jaganmohan Palace Art Gallery, home to a rich collection of paintings, antique furniture, ivory artifacts, musical instruments, and more.

Next, visit the majestic St. Philomena’s Church, a striking neo-Gothic structure known for its beautiful stained glass windows and towering spires.

In the evening, enjoy a delightful visit to the Brindavan Gardens at Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) Dam. Watch the stunning musical fountain show as the garden comes alive with lights and colors after sundown.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 2: Mysore – Ooty (160 km / Approx. 5 hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Ooty, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Nilgiri Hills. Known as the "Queen of the Hills," Ooty is a serene destination where rolling green mountains meet the open blue skies and fragrant flower beds.

En route, enjoy scenic stops at Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary and Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, both known for their rich flora and fauna. Also visit the charming Kalhatti Falls, a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers.

Upon arrival in Ooty, check in to your hotel and relax for a while. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour of the hill station:

  • Botanical Garden – A beautifully designed garden featuring a wide variety of flowering plants, ornamental shrubs, and a special fern house with rare orchids.

  • Ooty Lake – Enjoy a peaceful walk or optional boating at this scenic L-shaped lake stretching over 2 kilometers.

Day 3: Ooty – Coonoor Sightseeing Excursion

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to Coonoor, a charming hill town nestled amidst lush tea plantations and mist-covered valleys. Known for its cool climate and natural beauty, Coonoor offers several delightful attractions for nature and history enthusiasts.

Your sightseeing tour of Coonoor includes:

  • Pasteur Institute – Established in 1907, this institute is one of the oldest biological manufacturing facilities in India.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka, known as the "Silicon Valley of India." Enjoy the scenic drive through the hills and plains as you descend from the Nilgiris to the vibrant city of Bangalore.

Upon arrival, begin your local sightseeing tour of Bangalore:

  • Bull Temple – A historic temple dedicated to Nandi, the sacred bull of Lord Shiva, featuring a massive monolithic statue carved from granite.
