Day 1: Arrival in Accra - Upon your arrival at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, you will be greeted by our friendly representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to rest from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with a brief orientation about Ghana’s history and cultural diversity. Overnight stay in Accra.

Day 2: Accra City Tour - After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Ghana’s vibrant capital. Visit the Independence Arch, the Black Star Square, and the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, dedicated to Ghana’s first president. Explore the National Museum of Ghana, offering insights into the country’s pre-colonial and colonial history. Stroll through the Arts Centre, a hub for handicrafts and souvenirs, and interact with local artisans. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Accra.

Day 3: Accra – Cape Coast - Today, travel west along the scenic coast to Cape Coast. En route, stop at fishing villages to observe traditional methods of fishing and boat building. Upon arrival, visit the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a poignant reminder of the transatlantic slave trade. Tour its dungeons, museum, and historical exhibitions. Enjoy a leisurely evening walk along Cape Coast’s beautiful beaches. Overnight stay in Cape Coast.

Day 4: Kakum National Park – Elmina Castle - Begin the day with an excursion to Kakum National Park. Experience the famous canopy walkway, suspended high above the forest floor, offering stunning views of the lush tropical rainforest. In the afternoon, proceed to Elmina Castle, another UNESCO-listed fortress with deep historical significance. Explore the fishing harbor nearby, where colorful canoes line the shore. Return to Cape Coast for overnight stay.

Day 5: Cape Coast – Kumasi - After breakfast, depart for Kumasi, the cultural capital of the Ashanti Kingdom. On arrival, visit the Manhyia Palace Museum, which provides a fascinating glimpse into Ashanti history and royal traditions. Explore the bustling Kejetia Market, one of the largest in West Africa, and witness the vibrant energy of local commerce. Overnight stay in Kumasi.

Day 6: Kumasi Cultural Experience - Today’s itinerary focuses on Ashanti arts and crafts. Visit nearby villages renowned for Kente weaving, Adinkra cloth stamping, and wood carving. Day 7: Kumasi – Lake Bosomtwe - After breakfast, take a short drive to Lake Bosomtwe, Ghana’s only natural lake formed by a meteorite impact. Enjoy a peaceful day by the lake, surrounded by lush hills and tranquil scenery. Optional activities include canoeing, fishing, or simply relaxing on the shore. Return to Kumasi for overnight stay.

Day 8: Kumasi – Accra - Depart for Accra after breakfast, with scenic stops along the way. On arrival, visit the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, dedicated to the life and works of the African-American scholar and civil rights activist who spent his last years in Ghana. Spend the evening shopping for souvenirs or enjoying Ghana’s nightlife. Overnight stay in Accra.

Day 9: Shai Hills & Ada Foah Excursion - Today, head towards Shai Hills Resource Reserve, home to antelopes, baboons, and over 150 bird species. Explore the caves and enjoy light hiking. Continue to Ada Foah, a serene coastal town located where the Volta River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Relax on the sandy beaches or take a boat trip along the river. Return to Accra for overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time depending on your flight schedule.
