Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg
Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your Kashiyatra Tours guide and transferred to your hotel in Johannesburg. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a traditional South African dinner as you prepare for the exciting wildlife adventures ahead.

Day 2: Lion & Safari Park
After breakfast, depart for the Lion & Safari Park located just outside Johannesburg. This unique wildlife conservation area offers the chance to see lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators in a safe but natural environment. Enjoy guided game drives and walk-through enclosures, and learn about animal conservation efforts. Return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon for overnight stay.

Day 3: Pilanesberg National Park Safari
Today you head to Pilanesberg National Park, one of South Africa’s premier Big Five reserves located within a scenic crater. Upon arrival, check into your safari lodge. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive with expert rangers. Spot elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, and buffalo, along with numerous antelope species and birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day Safari in Pilanesberg National Park
Spend a full day exploring Pilanesberg’s diverse habitats on morning and afternoon game drives. Watch the sunrise over the wild plains, enjoy a bush picnic, and keep your camera ready for close encounters with wildlife. Learn about the park’s ecology and conservation from your guides. Return to the lodge each evening for meals and comfort.

Day 5: Cultural Visit and Pretoria City Tour
After breakfast, leave the wilderness behind and travel to Pretoria. En route, visit a nearby traditional village to experience South African rural culture firsthand. Interact with local artisans and learn about customs and crafts. In Pretoria, explore historical sites like the Union Buildings, Voortrekker Monument, and National Zoological Gardens, famous for its reptile park. Overnight stay in Pretoria.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Return to Johannesburg
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Pilanesberg to catch the wildlife at its most active. After breakfast, depart for Johannesburg. En route, stop at the Cradle of Humankind UNESCO World Heritage Site to explore fascinating caves and fossils tracing human origins. Arrive back in Johannesburg for your final overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure
