Day 1: Arrive Delhi – Drive to Nainital (330 Kms / Approx. 9 Hrs)

Welcome to New Delhi! Upon your arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly received by a Kashiyatra Tours representative. After a short tour briefing, begin your scenic drive to the popular lake town of Nainital, nestled in the Kumaon foothills of the Himalayas.

The journey is long but incredibly picturesque, with changing landscapes—from bustling city roads to serene hill countryside. En route, enjoy glimpses of rural Uttarakhand life, forested stretches, and cool mountain breezes as you ascend towards this charming hill station.

Upon arrival in Nainital, check in to your pre-booked hotel and take some time to relax after the journey. The evening is free for leisure—stroll along Mall Road, enjoy the view of Naini Lake, or simply unwind in the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Day 2: Explore Nainital & Surrounding Lakes

After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, get ready for a scenic excursion to the famous lake circuit around Nainital. Your first stop will be Sattal, a mesmerizing cluster of seven freshwater lakes surrounded by dense oak and pine forests. Enjoy the tranquility and birdwatching opportunities this natural haven offers.

Continue to Garud Tal, known for its mystical green waters, and then to the serene Bhimtal, where you can admire the small island temple set in the middle of the lake. Lastly, visit Naukuchiatal, or the ‘Lake of Nine Corners,’ a peaceful spot surrounded by hills and perfect for photography and leisure walks.

Return to Nainital in the afternoon, where you can spend your evening strolling along the lively Mall Road, shopping for local souvenirs, especially the famous handmade wax candles. You may also opt for a boat ride on the picturesque Naini Lake (on direct payment basis), surrounded by wooded hills and colonial architecture.

Day 3: Local Sightseeing in Nainital

After breakfast, set out for a spiritual and scenic exploration of Nainital’s iconic landmarks. Begin your day with a visit to the sacred Naina Devi Temple, located on the northern bank of Naini Lake and revered as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Then proceed to Hanuman Garhi, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, perched on a hilltop offering stunning views of the sunrise and the surrounding valleys.

The rest of the day is free for optional leisure activities. You can enjoy a boat ride across the sparkling Naini Lake (on direct payment), or take the ropeway ride to Snow View Point, which offers sweeping panoramas of snow-clad Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi.

For the more adventurous, a pony ride up to Naina Peak (also known as China Peak) is a memorable experience, offering a bird’s-eye view of Nainital and the towering Himalayas in the distance.

Day 4: Nainital – Ranikhet (80 Kms / Approx. 3 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast, bid farewell to Nainital and embark on a scenic drive to Ranikhet, a serene hill station tucked away in the Kumaon region and known for its lush greenery, colonial-era charm, and panoramic Himalayan views.

Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel and take some time to unwind amidst the peaceful pine-scented air.

In the afternoon, set out to explore the highlights of Ranikhet, starting with a visit to the 9-hole Golf Course at Upat, one of the highest golf courses in Asia. Then head to the Chaubatia Gardens, a government fruit orchard and research station known for its apples, plums, and panoramic views of the snow-clad Himalayas.

Later, delve into the spiritual side of Ranikhet with a visit to Dwarahat, a small town steeped in history and dotted with ancient temples built by the Katyuri kings.

Enjoy the serene ambiance and views of distant Himalayan peaks as the sun sets.

Day 5: Ranikhet – Jim Corbett National Park (125 Kms / Approx. 4 Hrs Drive)

Named after legendary hunter-turned-conservationist Jim Corbett, the park is a haven for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Upon arrival, check into your forest resort or hotel, nestled amidst the natural beauty of the Corbett landscape. Take some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon jeep safari (subject to availability and seasonal opening). Accompanied by trained naturalists, explore the park’s diverse flora and fauna, with chances to spot tigers, elephants, deer, leopards, wild boars, and over 600 species of birds.

Please note: The core zones of the park remain open from November to June, while buffer zones are accessible throughout the year.

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive to the Queen of the Hills – Mussoorie, a charming hill station perched at an altitude of 6,600 feet in the Garhwal Himalayas. The route takes you through winding roads, pine-covered hills, and glimpses of the vibrant Doon Valley below.

Upon arrival in Mussoorie, check into your pre-booked hotel and take some time to rest and rejuvenate. The town, shaped along a graceful horseshoe ridge, offers stunning views of the Shivalik ranges and the plains of north India.

The evening is free for leisure. You may choose to take a relaxed walk along the Mall Road, explore the quaint cafes and shops, or simply enjoy the cool mountain breeze and sunset from your hotel balcony.

Day 7: Mussoorie Sightseeing

Wake up to a refreshing morning in the misty hills of Mussoorie and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Today, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour exploring the best that this charming colonial-era hill station has to offer.

Begin with a visit to Gun Hill, the second-highest peak in Mussoorie, offering breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan ranges and the entire Doon Valley. For an added thrill, you can enjoy a ropeway ride (on direct payment basis) to reach the summit—an experience that offers stunning aerial views of the town and its lush surroundings.

Next, visit the iconic Kempty Falls, a picturesque cascade set amidst green hills. It’s a popular picnic spot where you can dip your feet in the cool mountain water or simply relax by the falls.

As you descend from the misty hills of Mussoorie and travel through forested valleys and bustling townships, take a moment to reflect on the temples visited, lakes explored, wildlife experienced, and mountains admired during your trip.
