Day 1: Delhi to Shimla (Approx. 330 km / 9 Hours) - Your journey begins with a warm welcome by our Kashiyatra Tours representative at the Delhi railway station or airport. From here, you will be comfortably escorted to Shimla, the scenic capital of Himachal Pradesh and the former summer retreat of the British Raj. As your vehicle winds through the picturesque hills and valleys of North India, you’ll begin to see the majestic Shivalik Mountains unfolding before your eyes. The cool mountain breeze, the pine-scented air, and the stunning views make the journey as memorable as the destination itself. Upon arrival in Shimla, check into your pre-booked hotel and unwind. You may choose to take a leisurely evening stroll along the quiet streets or simply relax and soak in the tranquility from your hotel room. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Shimla, surrounded by the serene charm of the hills.

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing & Excursion to Kufri - Begin your morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided local sightseeing tour of Shimla’s iconic attractions. Visit the sacred Jakhu Temple, perched on the highest hill of Shimla, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Continue to the Kalibari Temple and Hanuman Temple, both offering serene spiritual experiences and panoramic views. En route, stop at the elegant Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India, known for its stunning stained glass windows and neo-Gothic architecture dating back to the 1850s. Post lunch, embark on an exciting excursion to Kufri, a charming hill retreat located just 30 minutes from Shimla. Known for its snow-covered peaks, thick deodar forests, and tranquil ambiance, Kufri is ideal for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of untouched nature. Later, visit Fagu, a peaceful hamlet surrounded by orchards, and explore the Indira Gandhi Holiday Home. Day 3: Shimla to Kullu to Finally Reach Manali - After an early breakfast, begin your scenic road journey from Shimla to Manali, covering approximately 270 kilometers. As you descend from Shimla’s heights, the landscape unfolds into the stunning Kullu Valley, known for its lush greenery, majestic hills, and the sparkling Beas River that runs alongside the road. En route, take a break in Kullu, famous for its handcrafted woolen shawls and vibrant markets. You can enjoy a peaceful moment by the Beas River, soak in the serenity at Dussehra Maidan, or even opt for river rafting if time and weather permit. As you continue the drive toward Manali, watch the scenery transform with towering deodar trees, mountain streams, and quaint villages dotting the hillsides. By evening, arrive in the beautiful hill town of Manali, nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Check into your hotel and unwind after a long yet enriching day. Day 4: Manali Sightseeing - Begin your day with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided sightseeing tour of Manali, a charming town that perfectly blends spirituality, nature, and culture. Your first stop is the sacred Hadimba Devi Temple, surrounded by cedar forests and built in traditional pagoda-style architecture. This 16th-century temple is dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhima from the Mahabharata. Next, visit the peaceful Tibetan Monastery, known for its beautiful murals and spiritual ambiance. Then proceed to the ancient Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs, believed to have therapeutic properties and located in a quaint village setting. Continue to the Roerich Art Gallery (subject to opening hours), which showcases the inspiring work of Russian artist Nicholas Roerich and offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Day 5: Excursion to Rohtang Pass & Solang Valley (Snow Point) - After an early breakfast, get ready for a full-day adventure to some of Himachal’s most breathtaking landscapes. Your day begins with a drive toward the legendary Rohtang Pass (subject to weather and permit availability). On the way, stop at Gulaba, Kothi Gorge, and Marhi, each offering spellbinding views of snow-covered peaks, deep valleys, and winding mountain roads. Depending on the season and snow conditions, you’ll reach up to the Snow Point, located en route to Rohtang. Experience the thrill of snow activities like skiing, snow-scooter rides, and snowball fights (at your own expense). Later, visit the stunning Solang Valley, often referred to as the adventure capital of Himachal. Here, you can enjoy optional activities such as paragliding, ropeway rides, zorbing, and more, all set against the backdrop of majestic Himalayan peaks. After a fun-filled day amidst snow and adventure, return to Manali in the evening. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh (Via Scenic Garden Stops - After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey towards Chandigarh, one of India’s most well-planned and modern cities, designed by the famous architect Le Corbusier.En route, enjoy refreshing stops at some of Chandigarh’s most iconic attractions:

• Rock Garden: An artistic marvel built entirely from industrial and urban waste, showcasing creativity amidst recycling.

• Rose Garden: Asia’s largest rose garden, home to hundreds of rose varieties and a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll.

• Pinjore Gardens: A 17th-century Mughal-style garden with lush greenery, fountains, and historical charm.

Later, if time permits, enjoy a serene boat ride at Sukhna Lake, a man-made reservoir that offers a peaceful retreat with views of the Shivalik Hills.

Arrive in Chandigarh by evening and check into your hotel. Spend your night relaxing or exploring nearby markets for local food and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.

Day 7: Chandigarh to Delhi – Departure - After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return journey to Delhi. As you drive through the heart of North India, you have the optional opportunity to visit Kurukshetra, the legendary battlefield of the Mahabharata and a sacred city rich in spiritual and historical significance. Explore places like Brahma Sarovar, Jyotisar, and Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre if time permits, before continuing onward to Delhi.

Upon arrival in Delhi, our representative will assist you with a drop at the airport or railway station, marking the end of a memorable journey.
