The Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand is one of the most revered pilgrimage circuits in India, encompassing the four sacred shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. These holy temples are nestled amidst the serene and majestic Garhwal Himalayas and are dedicated to four divine forms—Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu, respectively.
Kashiyatra Tours offers a spiritually fulfilling and efficiently planned 5 Nights / 6 Days Chardham Yatra, starting and ending at Dehradun. This journey is ideal for devotees looking to complete the Char Dham circuit within a short span, without compromising on comfort, devotion, or experience.
The yatra begins with darshan at Yamunotri, the source of River Yamuna, followed by Gangotri, the origin of the holy Ganga. From there, pilgrims travel to Kedarnath, the sacred Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva set against a backdrop of snowy peaks, and finally to Badrinath, the divine seat of Lord Vishnu.
With well-organized transfers, priority temple darshans, experienced guides, and comfortable accommodation, Kashiyatra Tours ensures a smooth and spiritually uplifting journey through the heart of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

Day 2: Dehradun – Yamunotri (Kharsali Helipad)
Your sacred journey officially begins today. After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun. Here, the Kashiyatra Tours team will assist you with check-in formalities and provide a final briefing before your helicopter takes off for the first dham—Yamunotri.
Enjoy a scenic flight to Kharsali Helipad, the nearest landing point to Yamunotri Temple. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and assisted for a 7 km trek to the Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, the source of River Yamuna.
The trek to the temple can be undertaken by foot, pony, or palki (palanquin), depending on your preference and physical comfort. After completing your VIP Darshan and spending some peaceful time at the temple, you will return to Kharsali village.
Later, you will be escorted to your pre-arranged hotel in Kharsali. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax amidst the tranquil Himalayan surroundings.
Overnight stay in Kharsali (Yamunotri base).
Day 3: Yamunotri – Gangotri (Kharsali to Harsil Helipad)
After an early breakfast at your hotel in Kharsali, you will check out and proceed to the Kharsali Helipad to board your helicopter to Harsil, the gateway to Gangotri Dham.
Enjoy a scenic 45-minute helicopter ride over the majestic Garhwal Himalayas. Upon arrival at Harsil Helipad, our ground staff will receive you and assist with your onward journey to Gangotri Temple, located approximately 25 km away. The drive to the temple through pine forests and mountain valleys takes about 1 hour and is a treat in itself.
On reaching Gangotri, visit the sacred shrine of Goddess Ganga, where, according to legend, the river Ganga first descended to earth. With VIP Darshan arrangements in place, you can offer your prayers peacefully and absorb the spiritual aura of this Himalayan temple.
After darshan and some time spent by the holy Bhagirathi River, you will be driven back to Harsil. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, surrounded by lush apple orchards, snow-clad peaks, and crisp mountain air.
Overnight stay in Harsil
Day 4: Gangotri – Kedarnath (Harsil to Kedarnath)
After an early breakfast at your hotel in Harsil, check out and proceed to the Harsil Helipad to board your helicopter for Kedarnath, one of the most sacred Jyotirlingas and a key stop in the Chardham Yatra.
The helicopter ride from Harsil to the Kedarnath sector (approx. 45 minutes) will land at one of the permitted helipads—Guptkashi, Phata, Sersi, or Sitapur—depending on operational conditions and government regulations.
In accordance with Uttarakhand Government's guidelines to preserve the fragile ecosystem of Kedarnath valley, pilgrims are required to board a government-authorized shuttle helicopter for the final stretch to Kedarnath Helipad, located just 500 meters from the main temple complex.
Upon arrival at Kedarnath, you will be given approximately 1.5 hours to perform VIP Darshan of Lord Shiva’s shrine, situated against the stunning backdrop of snow-covered Himalayan peaks.
After completing your darshan, return to the helipad to board the shuttle back. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel near Kedarnath or in the surrounding region (Guptkashi/Sitapur) for overnight stay.
Day 5: Kedarnath – Badrinath (By Helicopter)
After an early morning breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to the helipad for your onward journey to the final Dham—Badrinath, the sacred abode of Lord Vishnu.
Enjoy a scenic 30–45 minute helicopter ride over the majestic Himalayan ranges. You will land at the Badrinath Helipad, which is located just about 1 km from the main temple premises. A comfortable vehicle will be waiting to transfer you directly to the shrine.
Upon arrival, proceed for a VIP Darshan at Badrinath Temple (Badri Vishal), one of the most revered Char Dham shrines, located on the banks of the Alaknanda River and surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Spend some peaceful moments in devotion and spiritual reflection.
If time permits, you may also opt for a short local sightseeing tour to nearby spiritual and natural wonders such as Mana Village (India’s last village before the Tibetan border), Bhim Pul, and Vasudhara Falls, which add further charm to your pilgrimage experience.
After the completion of darshan and sightseeing, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel near Badrinath Temple for dinner and rest.
Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 6: Badrinath – Dehradun – Departure
Your spiritual journey to the Char Dhams concludes today. After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to the Badrinath Helipad for your return helicopter ride back to Dehradun.
Enjoy the breathtaking aerial views one last time as you soar over the snow-capped Himalayan peaks, winding rivers, and lush valleys. The flight from Badrinath to Dehradun takes approximately 1 hour, subject to weather and operational conditions.
Upon landing at Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun, the Kashiyatra Tours team will receive you and assist with your onward departure transfers to Dehradun Airport or Railway Station, depending on your travel plans.
