Day 1: Arrival in Cairns – Relax & Esplanade Lagoon - Welcome to Cairns! Upon arrival at Cairns Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your family-friendly hotel in the city. After check-in, unwind and settle into your tropical surroundings. In the evening, explore the lively Cairns Esplanade, a favorite with families for its oceanfront boardwalk, free water-themed playgrounds, and the Esplanade Lagoon—a public swimming area perfect for kids. Parents can relax by the shaded grassy areas while children splash safely. Optional: Visit the Cairns Night Markets for souvenirs, crafts, and family-style dining options. Overnight stay in Cairns.

Day 2: Full-Day Great Barrier Reef Adventure- After breakfast, embark on an unforgettable full-day cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s most spectacular natural attractions. Board a high-speed catamaran and cruise to Green Island or a family-friendly Outer Reef pontoon. The experience includes:

• Snorkeling gear and life jackets for all ages

• Glass-bottom boat rides and semi-submersible coral viewing

• Guided reef interpretation for kids by a marine biologist

• A hot & cold buffet lunch on board

• Kids' club or play area on some vessels

Optional: Scuba diving or underwater helmet walk (extra cost & age restrictions apply) Return to Cairns by evening. Families can enjoy a casual dinner at the marina or order room service and relax. Overnight stay in Cairns.

Day 3: Kuranda Scenic Railway & Skyrail Rainforest Cableway - Today, dive into the ancient rainforest! After breakfast, depart for a full-day Kuranda Rainforest tour, one of the most scenic and family-friendly experiences in the region.

• Start with the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, a slow train journey through tropical rainforest, tunnels, and waterfalls—great for family photos!

• Spend time in Kuranda Village, home to cafes, markets, and wildlife parks.

• Optional visits include:

  • Kuranda Koala Gardens – pet a koala, meet wallabies and reptiles

  • Birdworld Kuranda – walk among free-flying parrots and lorikeets
