Day 1: Arrival in Dakar - Upon arrival at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Dakar, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy a leisurely evening to unwind after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Dakar’s lively streets or relax at the hotel. Overnight stay in Dakar.

Day 2: Dakar City Tour – Gorée Island - After breakfast, begin your full-day Dakar city tour. Visit the African Renaissance Monument, an iconic symbol of African pride, followed by the Presidential Palace and the vibrant Kermel Market, where local life comes alive. Later, take a ferry to Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its role in the transatlantic slave trade. Explore the House of Slaves museum and charming streets lined with colonial-era buildings. Return to Dakar in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Dakar – Pink Lake (Lake Retba) – Saint-Louis - Enjoy breakfast before heading to Lake Retba, famous for its unique pink hue caused by high salt content and microorganisms. Meet local salt collectors and, if desired, take a short boat ride to see the lake’s vibrant colors up close. Continue your journey to Saint-Louis, the former French colonial capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After check-in, take an evening stroll along the colonial streets and riverside. Overnight in Saint-Louis.

Day 4: Saint-Louis – Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary - Today, embark on a morning excursion to Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary, one of the world’s most important bird sanctuaries and a UNESCO site. Enjoy a boat trip to observe pelicans, flamingos, herons, and other migratory birds. Return to Saint-Louis for a city tour covering the Governor’s Palace, Faidherbe Bridge, and local fishing communities. Overnight stay in Saint-Louis.

Day 5: Saint-Louis – Lompoul Desert - After breakfast, travel to the Lompoul Desert, a small yet breathtaking stretch of golden dunes between Saint-Louis and Dakar. Experience a camel ride across the dunes, enjoy panoramic desert views, and witness a spectacular sunset. Stay overnight in a traditional desert camp, enjoying a local dinner under the starlit sky with Senegalese music and cultural performances.

Day 6: Lompoul Desert – Saly Resort Area - This morning, depart for Saly, Senegal’s most popular coastal resort area. Upon arrival, check into your beachside hotel and spend the day relaxing by the Atlantic coast. You can choose optional activities such as snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, or visiting nearby fishing villages. In the evening, enjoy a seafood dinner with ocean views. Overnight stay in Saly.

Day 7: Bandia Reserve Safari – Saly - After breakfast, head to Bandia Wildlife Reserve for a half-day safari. Spot giraffes, zebras, antelopes, rhinos, and various bird species in their natural habitat. Learn about Senegal’s conservation efforts and the reserve’s role in preserving African wildlife. Return to Saly for an afternoon of leisure on the beach, shopping for handicrafts, or simply soaking up the sun. Overnight stay in Saly.

Day 8: Departure from Dakar - Enjoy a final breakfast by the beach before departing for Dakar. Depending on your flight schedule, you may stop at local markets for last-minute souvenirs.
