Day 1: Arrival in Algiers
Arrive at Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers, where our representative will meet you for a warm welcome. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an evening stroll along the seafront promenade or through the French colonial quarters. Dinner and overnight in Algiers.

Day 2: Algiers City Tour
After breakfast, begin your guided city tour. Visit the Casbah of Algiers (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a maze of alleys, Ottoman palaces, and bustling souks. Continue to the Ketchaoua Mosque, the Martyrs’ Memorial, and the National Museum of Antiquities, home to Roman artefacts from across Algeria. Stroll through the botanical Jardin d’Essai du Hamma for a peaceful break. Overnight in Algiers.

Day 3: Tipasa & Cherchell Excursion
Head west along the Mediterranean coast to Tipasa, a UNESCO-listed Roman site with impressive basilicas, an amphitheatre, and seaside villas adorned with mosaics. Explore the nearby Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, a monumental tomb of Berber kings. Continue to Cherchell, a former Roman port city, to visit its archaeological museum and ruins. Return to Algiers for overnight stay.

Day 4: Algiers to Constantine via Setif
After breakfast, depart for Constantine, stopping in Setif to visit the archaeological museum and the Roman site of Djemila (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Known as “Cuicul” in Roman times, Djemila is famous for its stunning mosaics, temples, and forum set against mountain scenery. Continue to Constantine, check in, and enjoy dinner overlooking the dramatic gorges that cut through the city. Overnight in Constantine.

Day 5: Constantine City Tour
Discover Constantine, the “City of Bridges.” Visit the Ahmed Bey Palace, the ancient Roman Arch of Constantine, and the city’s impressive suspension bridges spanning deep ravines. The Constantine Museum offers insight into the city’s Roman history. Afternoon free for leisurely exploration of local markets. Overnight in Constantine.

Day 6: Timgad & Lambaesis Excursion
Set out for a full-day tour to Timgad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most perfectly preserved Roman cities in existence. Stroll through its grid-planned streets, the grand Trajan Arch, theatre, library, and basilicas. Continue to Lambaesis, site of a major Roman military camp, before returning to Constantine. Overnight stay in Constantine.

Day 7: Constantine to Oran via Algiers
Fly back to Algiers in the morning, then connect to Oran, Algeria’s vibrant coastal city. Upon arrival, take an orientation tour to see the Santa Cruz Fort, Place du 1er Novembre, and the city’s colonial architecture. Dinner and overnight in Oran.

Day 8: Tlemcen Day Trip
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Tlemcen, a city with a blend of Roman, Berber, and Islamic heritage. While most Roman structures here are fragments, the city’s archaeological sites and museums preserve significant artefacts. Visit the Great Mosque of Tlemcen and El Mechouar Palace. Return to Oran for the night.

Day 9: Oran to Algiers
Fly back to Algiers for your final night in Algeria. Spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs in the Casbah markets—traditional carpets, pottery, and silver jewellery make perfect keepsakes. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with Mediterranean and North African flavours. Overnight in Algiers.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Houari Boumediene International Airport for your onward journey, leaving with unforgettable memories of Algeria’s Roman heritage and timeless landscapes.
