Day 1: Arrival in Algiers
Arrive at Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers, where our local representative will meet you for a warm welcome. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Depending on your arrival time, take an optional evening walk along the city’s Mediterranean promenade or explore a nearby café for a taste of Algerian coffee culture. Dinner and overnight stay in Algiers.

Day 2: Algiers City Tour
After breakfast, begin a guided exploration of Algiers. Visit the Casbah of Algiers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with narrow alleys, Ottoman-era houses, and bustling markets. See the Ketchaoua Mosque, Martyrs’ Memorial, and French colonial boulevards along the seafront. Continue to the Jardin d’Essai du Hamma, one of Africa’s most beautiful botanical gardens, and the National Museum of Antiquities, which houses Roman mosaics, sculptures, and ancient artefacts. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Tipasa & Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania
This morning, take a scenic drive west along the Mediterranean coast to Tipasa, a UNESCO-listed Roman archaeological site. Explore its amphitheatre, basilicas, mosaics, and sea-facing villas. Continue to the Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, the final resting place of Berber royalty, with its impressive stone structure dominating the hillside. Enjoy lunch in a coastal town before returning to Algiers in the evening. Overnight stay in Algiers.

Day 4: Algiers to Constantine via Djemila
After breakfast, depart for Constantine, making a stop at Djemila (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Known as “Cuicul” in Roman times, Djemila is set in stunning mountain scenery and boasts some of the finest Roman ruins in North Africa, including temples, forums, and beautifully preserved mosaics. Continue your journey to Constantine, arriving in the late afternoon. Check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner with views of the city’s dramatic ravines. Overnight stay in Constantine.

Day 5: Constantine City Tour & Timgad Excursion
Begin your morning exploring Constantine, often called the “City of Bridges” for its spectacular bridges spanning deep gorges. Visit the Ahmed Bey Palace, the Arch of Constantine, and the Constantine Museum. In the afternoon, take an excursion to Timgad, a perfectly preserved Roman city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk along its grid-pattern streets, explore the Trajan Arch, theatre, and library before returning to Constantine. Overnight stay in Constantine.

Day 6: Constantine to Oran
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Oran, Algeria’s vibrant coastal city. Upon arrival, begin a half-day city tour, visiting Santa Cruz Fort for panoramic views, Place du 1er Novembre, and the city’s historic quarter. Stroll through local markets to experience the lively atmosphere. Dinner and overnight in Oran.

Day 7: Tlemcen Day Trip
Take a full-day excursion to Tlemcen, a city with a rich blend of Berber, Arab, and French heritage. While its Roman remnants are minimal, the city is known for beautiful Islamic architecture and cultural landmarks. Visit the Great Mosque of Tlemcen, El Mechouar Palace, and scenic waterfalls in the surrounding region. Return to Oran in the evening for your farewell dinner. Overnight in Oran.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Oran or Algiers airport (depending on flight schedule) for your onward journey, carrying with you memories of Algeria’s rich history, warm hospitality, and diverse landscapes.
