Day 01: Varanasi – Arrival – Hotel Check-in – Ganga Aarti

Arrival:

  • Arrive at Varanasi: Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel.

  • Check-in: Complete your check-in process and relax in your comfortable room.

Evening:

  • Ganga Aarti: After freshening up, proceed to the banks of the Ganges River to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. This ritual is a grand and spiritually uplifting experience as priests perform a synchronised aarti with offerings to the river goddess.

    Optional: You may choose to experience the aarti from a boat on the Ganges (at your own cost), offering a unique perspective of the ceremony.

Overnight: Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 02: Varanasi – Morning Boat Ride – Temple Tour – Sarnath

Early Morning:

  • Boat Ride on the Ganges (5:00 AM): Start your day early with a peaceful boat ride on the Ganges. As you drift along the river, you will see various ghats of Varanasi, where locals engage in spiritual practices. This serene boat ride offers a wonderful view of the sunrise over the holy river.

Morning Temple Tour:

  • After the boat ride, proceed to visit some of the most renowned temples in Varanasi:

    • Kashi Vishwanath Temple: The most famous temple in Varanasi dedicated to Lord Shiva.

    • Annapurna Temple: Dedicated to the goddess of food and nourishment.

    • Vishalakshi Temple: A revered temple dedicated to Goddess Vishalakshi.

    • Kal Bhairav Temple: Dedicated to Lord Bhairav, the guardian deity of Varanasi.

  • Return to Hotel for Breakfast: After visiting these temples, return to your hotel for a hearty breakfast.

Mid-Morning Temple Tour Continues:

  • Continue your exploration of Varanasi with visits to:

    • Durga Temple (Monkey Temple): Famous for its red color and a significant place for devotees of Goddess Durga.

    • Tulsi Manas Mandir: Dedicated to Lord Rama and known for the inscriptions of the Ramcharitmanas.

    • Sankat Mochan Temple: Devoted to Lord Hanuman and located near the Assi Ghat.

    • Dhamekha Stupa: The most prominent structure in Sarnath.

    • Chaukhandi Stupa: Another important stupa that marks the place where Buddha met his first followers.

    • Buddha Temples: Explore various temples dedicated to Lord Buddha.

    • Archaeological Museum: A museum that houses important artifacts from the Buddhist era (entry fee applicable).

Evening:

  • Light and Sound Program at Chaukhandi Stupa: In the evening, enjoy the Light and Sound Program at Chaukhandi Stupa (entry fee applicable), which narrates the story of Sarnath's significance in Buddhist history.

  • Return to Hotel: After the program, head back to your hotel in Varanasi for a relaxing night.

Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Varanasi.

Day 03: Varanasi – Prayagraj (Allahabad) – Triveni Sangam – Varanasi (150 KM, 3 hrs)

Early Morning:

  • Breakfast and Departure to Prayagraj: After breakfast, depart for Prayagraj (Allahabad), which is approximately a 3-hour drive (150 kilometers) from Varanasi.

Upon Arrival in Prayagraj:

  • Triveni Sangam: Visit the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati River. It is a significant spot for Hindus, where you can take a ritual dip in the holy waters (optional).

    • Boat Ride at Sangam: Take an optional boat ride (at your own cost) at the Sangam for a peaceful and spiritual experience.

Morning:

  • Visit Prayag Raj Temple: Explore the Prayag Raj Temple, a revered Shiva temple near the Sangam.

  • Anand Bhavan: Visit the Anand Bhavan, the former residence of the Nehru family. It has been converted into a museum showcasing India's freedom struggle and history.

  • Allahabad Fort: Visit the Allahabad Fort, a grand Mughal fort located on the banks of the Yamuna River, which offers a stunning view of the surrounding area.

Lunch:

  • Enjoy a traditional local lunch in Prayagraj, known for its regional dishes.

Afternoon:

  • Khusro Bagh: Visit Khusro Bagh, a historical garden housing the tombs of Mughal emperor Jahangir’s son, Khusrau Mirza, and other members of the royal family.

  • Mankameshwar Temple and Patalpuri Temple: You may choose to visit the Mankameshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the Patalpuri Temple located within the Allahabad Fort.

Evening:

  • After a full day of sightseeing, begin your journey back to Varanasi.

  • Arrive in Varanasi: Return to your hotel in Varanasi in the evening.

Day 04: Varanasi – Local Exploration and Departure

  • Lunch: Enjoy a traditional meal at a local restaurant, and try some local delicacies such as Banarasi Paan, Kachori-Sabzi, and Thandai.

Departure:
