Day 01: Varanasi – Arrival – Hotel Check-in – Ganga Aarti

Arrival:

• Arrive at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel.

• Complete the check-in process and relax before starting your spiritual journey.

Evening:

• Refresh and prepare for a serene evening.

• Proceed to the banks of the Ganges to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. This enchanting ritual, performed by priests with synchronized offerings and chants, is a unique spiritual experience and a highlight of Varanasi.

  Optional: You may choose to view the aarti from a boat on the Ganges (at your own cost), which provides an unparalleled perspective of the ceremony and its surroundings.

Overnight: Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 02: Varanasi – Morning Boat Ride – Temple Tour – Sarnath

Early Morning:

• 5:00 AM Boat Ride on the Ganges: Start your day with an early morning boat ride along the sacred Ganges River. The boat ride offers an opportunity to witness the spiritual activities taking place on the ghats at dawn, such as prayer, meditation, and rituals performed by the local population.

• After the boat ride, visit the most significant religious temples in Varanasi:

  • Kashi Vishwanath Temple: One of the most revered temples in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

  • Annapurna Temple: Dedicated to the goddess of nourishment, Annapurna.

  • Vishalakshi Temple: Known for its significance in the ancient city.

  • Kal Bhairav Temple: Dedicated to Lord Bhairav, the guardian deity of Varanasi.

Return to the Hotel for Breakfast: After your temple visits, head back to the hotel for a wholesome breakfast.

Morning:

• Continue your city tour with visits to additional important temples and sites in Varanasi:

  • Durga Temple (Monkey Temple): Known for its unique red color and association with Goddess Durga.

  • Tulsi Manas Mandir: Dedicated to Lord Rama, known for the inscribed verses of the Ramcharitmanas.

  • Sankat Mochan Temple: A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, one of the most visited in the city.

  • New Kashi Vishwanath Temple: A modern temple that complements the older Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

  • Bharat Kala Bhawan Museum: Explore ancient artifacts, sculptures, and paintings (entry fee applicable).

Return to the Hotel for Lunch: Take a break and enjoy a traditional lunch.

Afternoon:

• Visit Sarnath: Head to Sarnath, located 10 km from Varanasi, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. Explore the key attractions:

  • Dhamekha Stupa: A monumental structure marking the place where Buddha gave his first sermon.

  • Chaukhandi Stupa: Another significant stupa in Sarnath.

  • Buddha Temples: Various temples dedicated to Lord Buddha.

  • Archaeological Museum: Featuring significant Buddhist artifacts (entry fee applicable).

Evening:

• Light and Sound Show at Chaukhandi Stupa: Witness the Light and Sound Program that narrates the historical and spiritual significance of Sarnath (entry fee applicable).

• Return to your hotel in Varanasi for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Varanasi – Sitamarhi – Prayagraj (Allahabad) – Varanasi

Morning:

• After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Prayagraj (Allahabad). On the way, stop for a visit to Sitamarhi, located about 20 kilometers from Prayagraj.

  • Sita Samadhi Asthal: Visit this sacred site, which marks the place where Sita was believed to have descended into the earth.

  • Valmiki Ashram: A historical ashram associated with the sage Valmiki, where Sita is said to have spent time during her exile.

Afternoon:

• Continue your drive and arrive in Prayagraj.

• Triveni Sangam: Visit the sacred Triveni Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers meet. It is an important pilgrimage site, and you may take a holy dip here (optional).

  Optional Boat Ride: You can opt for a boat ride at the Sangam (at your own cost) for a unique perspective of this holy confluence.

• Visit Prayagraj's Key Attractions:

  • Bade Hanuman Temple: A famous temple featuring a large statue of Lord Hanuman.

  • Anand Bhavan: The ancestral home of the Nehru family, now a museum showcasing the country’s political history and the freedom struggle.

  • Swaraj Bhawan: Another historical site linked to the Nehru-Gandhi family.

Evening:

• After visiting these important sites, drive back to Varanasi for an evening return.

Day 04: Varanasi – Drop to Airport/Railway Station

Morning:

• After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure or, if you wish, you can visit a local market for some last-minute shopping of Varanasi silk sarees, brassware, and handicrafts.

Check-out & Departure:

• Depending on your flight or train schedule, you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
